Your reserved driver will pick you up next to your cruise ship at 7am or 8am. After about 1.5 hours (depending on traffic) you will arrive at your first stop, St. Peter’s Square rebuilt and redesigned thanks to Gian Lorenzo Bernini between 1656 and 1667.

You can continue your visit at the second stop, the Pantheon. We will continue our tour through Piazza Navona, built on the ancient stadium of Diocletian that was used for athletic competitions. Today you can admire the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Fountain of Neptune and the Church of Santa Agnes in Agonia in the square of Navona. The stop you cannot miss is the Colosseum (Amphitheatre Flaviano), you will travel along the Fori Imperiali to Piazza Venezia, where you can admire the Vittoriano and the balcony from which Benito Mussolini declared World War II against France and Great Britain .
Soon after, Via del Corso, we will take you to the Trevi fountain, by Nicola Salvi. The artist was responsible for building the fountain in the 18th century after winning a competition organized by Pope Clement XII. Then, your driver will accompany you to Piazza Spagna, where you can admire the famous Spanish Steps and Pietro Bernini’s Fonte la barcaccia, heading to Piazza del Popolo and its obelisk.
The tour will end at 15:30 / 16:00 when we will return to the Port of Civitavecchia. You will be ready to board and continue your cruise around 5:00 PM.

In fact, St. Peter’s Square and Basilica are inside the Vatican, the city-state that houses the Catholic Church and carries the title of the smallest country in the world. Pantheon
Even almost two thousand years after it was built, the Pantheon still impresses and is a must-see on any trip to Rome, whether for its architectural, historical or artistic value. This ancient landmark was built in the 2nd century! The monument remained in use throughout its history, being one of the best-preserved works of ancient Rome. The Pantheon is located in Piazza della Rotonda and is currently used as a church.
Colosseum
What to do in Rome in 1 day? Visit the Colosseum, of course! The greatest Roman symbol is that postcard that every traveler should at least take a look at. The amphitheater was completed in the year 79, when it could hold an average of 60,000 people. Piazza Venezia
Piazza Venezia is a large square where the most important avenues in Rome meet, including Via del Corso and Via dei Fori Imperiali. One of its attractions is the Venice Palace, which was once a papal residence. Trevi Fountain

Located next to Palazzo Poli, the Fontana di Trevi features impressive sculptures, highlighting the perfection and detailing of the statue of Neptune, the god of the sea. in its waters. Piazza Navona
In the Roman Empire, in the place where Piazza Navona is located today, there was the Stadium of Domitian, a space where thousands of Roman citizens gathered and watched the sports of the time. Since the Renaissance, the square has been ornamented by three beautiful fountains: Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, Fontana del Moro and Fontana del Nettuno. Tip: this is a great place to visit during the Christmas season! Campo dei Fiori
Another beautiful square to include in your travel itinerary! Despite its beauty, the place has a somewhat dark past: it was there where the philosopher Giordano Bruno was burned on charges of heresy in the year 1600. Currently, however, an imposing statue in honor of the theorist adorns Campo dei Fiori. Another attraction to be visited is the flower, food and varied products fair that takes place there.
