Sometimes dirty, with graffitied stone walls without beautifying, sharing the attention with the statues, palaces and monuments in every corner.
Naples is not easy to define. I don’t know how many attempts I’ve made to describe it, but none of them does justice to the capital of Campania.
Naples and its curiosities, Castel Nuovo or Maschio Angioino, a medieval castle with five towers and symbol of the city of Naples that later became a fortress during Spanish rule due to its strategic position. The Galleria Umberto I, wonderful and very similar to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, perhaps a little less luxurious.
