But if we don’t have much time available, it is possible, in a whole day or in 6 hours, to visit some monuments in a “superficial” way.

1) What to visit in Rome in 1 day? MORNING TOUR: IMPERIAL ROME

In the morning we will begin our tour of the famous Imperial Rome, passing first by Circo Massimo and Bocca della Veritá. After visiting these two attractions, we will continue our Tour of Imperial Rome, continuing now to visit: Palatine Hill, Coliseum, Roman Forum, Campidoglio, Imperial Forum and Altar of the Fatherland (Monument to Victor Emmanuel II of Italy).

2) What to visit in Rome in 1 day? AFTERNOON TOUR: BAROQUE ROME AND VATICAN

In the afternoon we will continue visiting Piazza Spagna, Fontana Trevi, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. From Piazza Navona, we will continue on foot to the Vatican to discover St. Peter’s Basilica.

3) What to visit in Rome in 1 day? NIGHT TOUR: TRASTEVERE

If you have an overnight stay in Rome, we will close the day with a flourish by choosing a nice place for dinner, so your day in Rome will be complete. I advise you to have dinner in the famous bohemian neighborhood of Rome, Trastevere, to know the neighborhood is to feel all the Roman atmosphere, it is simply wonderful. It will be tiring, but worth it!!

Another suggestion to spend a day in Rome is…
You can also start the day doing the opposite, going first to St. Peter’s Basilica and then visiting Imperial Rome and then Baroque Rome, which is even more romantic at the end of the day!!
