Piaza Navona
With characteristics of Baroque Rome, it is located and delimited by buildings built on the ruins of the Domitian Stadium. The ancient stadium was built in 86 AD. for athletics and horse racing. The square has 4 fountains, Moro, Calderari and Neptune, all works by Giacomo della Porta, the fourth fountain is Quatro Fiumi, work by Gian Lorenzo.
Pantheon
The Pantheon is a monument that was founded in 27 BC. by Emperor Agrippa. It was destroyed and rebuilt 3 times.
It was then converted into a Catholic Church, in honor of Saint Mary of the Martyrs in the year 609, by the then Pope Boniface IV. Its dome is the largest of its time, measuring 43.5 meters in diameter, and the same height.
Furthermore, the opening at the top of the dome measures 8 meters in diameter and guarantees the entry of light into the Pantheon. In this part of your Rome itinerary, you will be impressed by the grandeur of this monument.

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 7:15 pm, Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:45 pm. Holidays (except Sunday) from 9:00 am to 1:15 pm.
Trevi Fountain
This is the most famous and most visited Fountain in Rome. Its architecture is monumental, with life-size sculptures. With representations of water flow and the statue of Ocean in the center of his carriage, shaped like a shell.
The current version of the Trevi Fountain was requested by Pope Clement XII in 1732. The fountain is in front of the Poli Palace, next to it, an equally beautiful construction. This way, you cannot leave it out of your Rome itinerary.
Piazza Venezia and Victor Emmanuel II National Monument
Piazza Venezia is the point where most of the public transport lines in the city of Rome cross. Furthermore, in this square, you will find the Venice Palace, and the General Security Palace, and right in front of the square, the Victor Emmanuel II National Monument .
A monument built between 1878 (year of its creation) and 1935 when it was completely completed. It is possible to visit its terrace and have a privileged view of Rome and the Roman Forum.

Roman Forum
The ruins found in the Roman Forum date from the 7th century BC to the 4th century AD. Several buildings were built to take care of the administrative part of the city at that time. In addition to administrative buildings, temples were also built in honor of Emperors of the time.
The emperors honored were Titus, Vespasian, Antonio Pius and Faustina. Therefore, taking a walk through these ruins is something exciting. I recommend purchasing entry in advance. But, you must first enter the Roman Forum. This is an attraction that cannot be left out of your itinerary in Rome.
Tickets: A visit to the Roman Forum entitles you to a visit to the Colosseum, €37.80 skip-the-line entry.
Opening Hours: Hours vary between 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, depending on the time of year.
Colosseum
The official name of the Colosseum is the Flavian Amphitheater, built in 71 AD. Another point that cannot be left out of your itinerary in Rome. The Coliseum is 188 meters long, 156 meters wide and 57 meters high, an enormity that could accommodate 50,000 people. Furthermore, it was built with bricks and covered in travertine marble, it had several levels to accommodate visitors, the closer the arena, the higher the person’s level.
The Colosseum was used for combats between gladiators, and between gladiators and wild animals. This was the form used to entertain the Roman population.
Opening hours are the same as the Roman Forum.
Walking the Little Streets of Rome
Another option for an itinerary in Rome is to walk through its streets, get lost in Rome, and discover simple and cute little shops.
