Between 8:45 and 9:00 we will pick you up at your Civitavecchia Cruise Port, to reach the town of Civita di Bagnoregio by van. The journey will last an hour and a half.
Upon our arrival, we will be greeted by a postcard image: the town is perched on top of a mountain! To reach the medieval-style historic center, we will have to cross a pedestrian bridge that will offer us incredible panoramic views of the valleys and hills that surround the town.
We will dedicate two and a half hours to visiting Civita di Bagnoregio, contemplating its Renaissance buildings and the exterior of the Romanesque church of San Donato. The driver/guide will also reveal why this place has been nicknamed “the dying town”.
With our batteries recharged, we will head towards the Sacred Wood of Bomarzo, also known as the Park of Monsters. For an hour and a half, we will explore this monumental complex designed in the 16th century by Vicino Orsini, one of the great patrons of the Renaissance. Hundreds of enigmatic sculptures, fountains and lush vegetation contribute to creating a truly magical atmosphere. We are sure that it will surprise you!
Finally, we will conclude the excursion by accompanying you to your hotel or airport.

After visiting Etruscopolis, we will take a tour of Tarquinia, walking through the historic center. We will contemplate the facades of emblematic monuments such as the town hall, the medieval towers or the church of Santa Maria di Castello.
Excursion to Tarquinia + Necropolis (7 hours)
Would you like to visit the Monterozzi necropolis? Once we arrive in Tarquinia, we will begin to explore this site declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Did you know that it houses more than 6,000 Etruscan tombs? Inside the tombs, we will notice the excellent state of conservation of their wall paintings.
We will continue the excursion by visiting the center of Tarquinia on foot and enjoying a good lunch. Afterwards, we will visit the Palazzo Vitelleschi where we will continue to investigate the Etruscan past of Tarquinia while admiring numerous handicrafts.

This is the most complete option to get to know Tarquinia in depth. In this case, we will visit both the Etruscopolis museum and the Monterozzi necropolis and we will get to know the most important monuments of Tarquinia, such as the Palazzo Vitelleschi or the church of Santa Maria in Castello.
