The blue trail is the easiest, the most famous and most visited of all the Cinque Terre.

It is divided into four sections that connect to each other, all five Cinque Terre villages, total: 12 km.

Riomaggiore – Manarola. (La Via dell’Amore – the Path of Love) The shortest way of all the Cinque Terre, the twentieth century, from the 20s, when they built the railway tunnel between these two villages. The road passes right at the foot of the mountain, is a very beautiful and peaceful way.

Manarola – Corniglia. The second part of the Blue Trail that connects Manarola with Corniglia Station (the station itself is separated from the city by a long staircase “Lardarina” with 382 steps). This passage seems in part to the first, the trail also passes very near the sea.

Corniglia – Vernazza. The track is much greater than the previous two. It opens with a wooded area with a beautiful view of the Riviera of Cinque Terre, Corniglia and the small village of San Bernardino, which sits on top of the mountain.

Vernazza – Monterosso al Mare. The path is very similar to the part that precedes it. Practically at the beginning you will find yourself in a large clearing where they stop all tourists to be photographed with Vernazza in the background, it is a very comfortable and beautiful place.
