Tour of a whole day to the coast of Amalfi of Rome. Enjoy a round trip from Rome to Naples. Find out along the coast of Amalfi on an air conditioning minivan. Visit two of the most picturesque villages of the Amalfitan coast, Positano and Amalfi explore in their own pace of small tours to ensure a personalized experience.

The Amalfitan coast (or Costa Amalfi, as it is commonly called) is a coastal line with an extension of about 50 km located in Italy, in the Campania region, and relatively close to Naples. In strict terms, it begins in Positano and ends in Vietri Sul Mar, or round trip.

POSITANO

This succession of cities and villages, such as huge sea -facing balconies, have a unique geographical beauty and natural diversity and is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Positano will be the first land he will find and that already actually belongs to the Amalfi Coast. The geographical position of this old fishing village is stunning and, despite the development and great tourist growth, Positano was able to preserve himself as a picturesque “vertical city”, with very unique architecture and scenic beauty.

The Church of Santa Maria Assunta is one of the most emblematic of the Amalfitan coast and, no doubt, one of the “mandatory” places to visit in Positano, especially for Catholics and devotees to the Virgin Mary. But the best thing is to go through its alleys and stairs without a specific route, coming down to the beach and the port, where you have a fabulous view of the city fitted by the slope above.

So many times acclaimed by different writers and poets or reproduced on screen by painters of all nationalities, Positano is also a reference in the areas of sailor and Culinary style fashion. Thus, you can count on many boutiques, shops and stalls, as well as several welcoming restaurants, cafes and ice cream where you can taste excellent sweets and delicacies.

AMALFI

Amalfi is the largest city along the Amalfitan coast and apparently the name of it. It is one of the most popular sites to stay, after Sorrento, and an excellent alternative to high Positano prices. Its location, precisely in half, can be very advantageous to visit the coast in two different parts and meanings: one day for this and the other day to the west. From Amalfi it is also easy to catch a ferry for Capri, but more distant places like Pompei or Naples are no longer so accessible.

The city is very lively and busy. It has a large dark sand beach (be sure to go to the tip of the seawall to see the city in front) and a pedestrian historic center with alleys and tunes full of great restaurants, ice cream and small grocery stores. The icing at the top of the cake is its majestic cathedral, literally fitted by the buildings of the central square (Piazza Duomo). To not lose!
