Your perfect day in Rome — our full-day private tours allow you to explore even more

Drawing up an itinerary in Rome can be a challenge even for the most experienced travellers. The capital of Italy is one of the oldest cities in the world, full of monuments, history and many attractions. Therefore, it is very important to have good planning.

The most interesting thing is that there is always something new to discover. You could spend weeks exploring Rome!

But who doesn’t have a lot of time in the city? Well, with at least 2 days you can get to know its main attractions – and be sure you’ll want to come back!

To help you in the mission of putting together an optimized itinerary, we offer a panoramic private tour with driver in Rome in a day that covers all the best!

Your Private Tour Rome in a Day begins early in the morning, with a private chauffeured pick-up directly from your hotel

In this itinerary suggestion, we have compiled the main attractions in the first days of the trip – precisely to meet those who have less time. But of course you can reverse the order or make substitutions that are more your style.

Thinking about the dates of each visit is also a smart decision. At the Colosseum and Vatican Museums, for example, it’s best to avoid weekends. If you want to see the Pope, it’s interesting to check the schedule and prioritize Wednesday or Sunday.

Remembering that the suggested itinerary considers full days, not counting arrival and departure days. Take advantage of these days to rest and do a quieter schedule, such as getting to know the surroundings of your hotel.

Another tip: after doing the tours during the day, try going out to discover Rome at night. The city is even more beautiful. Some suggestions are the regions of Monti, Trastevere, Historic Center and San Giovanni.

Private Tour Rome in a Day

Separate the second day of the itinerary to visit the main squares, fountains and monuments of Rome.

We start the day in Piazza Campo De’ Fiori, one of the most charming places in Rome.

The past of the square
Campo dei Fiori Square was built in 1456 by order of Pope Calixto III in the place where there was a field of flowers, hence the origin of the name of the square.

After the refurbishment of the area and the construction of several important buildings, such as the Orsini Palace, the square became a popular place for the most important personalities.

Campo dei Fiori turned into a very prosperous place, filled with craft workshops and hostels, and there was a horse market twice a week.

The square was also the place where public executions took place and one of the ways to remember this is through the impressive statue of Giordano Bruno located in the center of the square. This philosopher was burned in the square in the year 1600, accused of heresy, and in 1889 the monument was built in his honor.

The square in the present
Currently, Campo dei Fiori is one of the most popular places in the capital. Every morning, from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 1 pm, since 1869, there is a famous outdoor fair that sells flowers, fruits, spices, typical drinks and various products are sold.
