Still in Amalfi, the Grotta dello Smeraldo is an attraction in itself and draws the attention of many tourists. Located under the famous highway that cuts through the entire region, the cave was discovered in 1932 by local fishermen.
Beautiful and with turquoise waters, it is even more dazzling when the sun’s rays enter through the cracks that are under the surface. Access to the cave is made only by rowing boat. A tip is to book the tour in advance, as demand is always very high.
